Hypersoft Technologies Q3 FY26: 1,150% Sales Explosion, ₹1.50 Cr Quarter, 17.3% OPM — Is This a Turnaround or a Tech Mirage?

1. At a Glance – Tiny IT Firm, Giant Drama

₹124 crore market cap. ₹76.4 stock price. Down 18.4% in three months. Up 295% in one year. P/E of 41.5. Book value? Just ₹9.97.

Welcome to Hypersoft Technologies Ltd, where volatility is not a bug — it’s a feature.

The company just reported Q3 FY26 (December 2025) quarterly results with sales of ₹1.50 crore and PAT of ₹0.18 crore. Sales growth? A hilarious 1,150% YoY. Profit growth? 123% YoY. OPM? 17.33%.

Debt? ₹0.02 crore — basically pocket change.
ROCE? 20.65%.
ROE? 9.07%.

On paper, it looks like a comeback story. But dig deeper and you’ll see: this is not TCS. This is not Infosys. This is a tiny IT services firm that suddenly decided to behave like a growth stock.

Is this a legitimate transformation story? Or is it a financial reshuffle disguised as tech brilliance?

Let’s investigate.

2. Introduction – From Software Dinosaur to Acquisition Mode

Hypersoft Technologies was incorporated in 1983. That means it has survived floppy disks, Y2K panic, dot-com bubble, and probably Windows 95 crashes.

And yet… until recently, the numbers were sleepy.

For years, revenues hovered below ₹1 crore annually. Losses were frequent. ROE negative. Debtor days dancing like a Bollywood wedding — 308 days at one point.

Then 2025 happened.

Suddenly:

  • Major share swaps
  • Acquisition of NX Global
  • Open offer drama
  • Promoter holding rising from 34% to 64%
  • Sales jumping to ₹29.96 crore (TTM)

This isn’t organic growth. This is corporate surgery.

The stock price ran 295% in one year. Then cooled off.

So what exactly changed?

Did Hypersoft reinvent itself? Or did it just absorb someone else’s business and inherit their revenue?

Before we judge, let’s understand what they actually do.
