Earnings Today: BHP Group, Palo Alto Networks, Blink Charging

Today, there are 29 earnings reports due out, per data from TipRanks. Most-closely watched will be earnings from cybersecurity giant Palo Alto Networks (PANW) and one-time retail investor darling Blink Charging (BLNK) .

Aside from those reposts, here are the other top earnings coming today:

Despite the narrow slate of earnings today, this week will still be relatively exciting in earnings land.

Economic Data

After a busy week of economic data, things will be relaxed to start this week. On deck this morning, we’ll be seeing the NAHB Housing Market Index (Previously: 33; Consensus: 34).

It’ll be out at 10:30 a.m., offering color on the state of the market. In June, benchmark has plummeted to its lowest point since Dec. 2022.

An hour later, the the 3-month and 6-month bill auction will take place at 11:30 a.m. ET.

All’s Quiet On the Wyoming Front

However, the quiet start to the week will come with a rising chorus of speculation for what to expect at this Friday’s Fed Conference in Jackson Hole, WY. There, Fed Chairman Jerome Powell is expected to deliver a speech which could move the markets.

Further, Powell is expected to speak on the factors which could influence the pace of interest rate cuts by the central bank. Rate cuts have become a big ingredient in the recent rally in stocks, along with earnings quality.
