About Us

We track and explain India’s listed companies — all of them, in plain language.

If you’ve ever opened a company’s annual report, made it four pages in, and quietly closed the tab, this site is for you. India has thousands of listed companies. Most of them are explained nowhere a normal person would want to read. The filings are written for auditors, the broker notes are written for other brokers, and the headlines are written for clicks. Somewhere in the middle is the actual question — what does this company do, and how did it actually do? — and almost nobody answers it in a way you’d want to read on a Sunday.

That’s the whole job here. We take the dump of numbers, the concall, the filings and the fine print, and turn it into one readable thing: what the business is, what it reported this period, what the balance sheet and cash flow are quietly saying, what management promised, and what the record shows. The boring parts, made legible. The complex parts, made simple. With enough of a voice that you don’t fall asleep halfway through.

We cover everyone — the giants and the small-caps, the compounders and the question marks. Not because we have a view on which ones you should own, but because every listed company is a story about how a business actually works. A toll operator, a piston maker, a sugar mill, a shrimp-feed company — they’re all running a real machine in the real economy, and that machine is interesting enough to explain properly.

All of it is free to read.

What we don’t do

Here’s the line we draw, on purpose, and never cross:

We don’t tell you what to buy, sell or hold. No price targets. No “this is cheap.” No “accumulate at these levels.” No returns promised, implied or hinted at. We describe the company and what the market is doing with it — we never tell you what to do about it. That decision is yours.

We’re not a tip service, a research house or a portfolio. There’s no Telegram channel selling calls. Nobody pays to be featured, and no advertiser can change what we write.

Who’s responsible

Articles here are researched and drafted with AI tools, then checked against the underlying filing and published by a person who stands behind them. We’d rather say that plainly than pretend otherwise. The AI is the engine that makes it possible to read thousands of filings; the judgement, the checking and the final call are human.

Every piece on this site is signed off by Prashant Marathe, personally. Nothing goes live that hasn’t been.

We will get things wrong — help us fix them

Across thousands of companies and a lot of numbers, we will make mistakes. A figure mistyped, a quarter mislabelled, a fact that slipped through. We’d rather admit that up front than pretend to be a site that knows everything — nobody does, and the ones who claim to are usually the ones you should trust least.

So there’s a Report an error button on every article. Flag a wrong number, a stale figure, a fact that doesn’t match the filing. It takes ten seconds, the exact line you flag comes straight to us, and we check it against the source. No ego, no defensiveness. If you’re right, we fix it, and the next reader gets a better page because of you.

Every correction makes the record sharper. That’s the part we actually mean.

EduInvesting Exam Desk — NISM certification prep

Reading companies is one thing. Getting certified is another, and we run the prep for that too.

Practice question banks and mock tests, covering:

  • Series V-A — Mutual Fund Distributors
  • Series V-B — Mutual Fund Foundation
  • Series VIII — Equity Derivatives
  • Series X-A — Investment Adviser (Level 1)
  • Series XV — Research Analyst

Every question is written to be harder than the real paper, so exam day feels like a formality.

NISM revised the Series XV examination with effect from 20 January 2026 — wider syllabus, and case-based questions alongside the MCQs. Our material is written against the current pattern.

What these classes are not. They’re exam preparation, and nothing else. We don’t discuss specific stocks, take questions on what to buy, or give views on live prices in class. If you’re there for tips, this is the wrong course.

How this is made

Sources: public information only — NSE, BSE, company filings and market-data platforms. Nothing leaked, nothing inside.

Numbers crisp. Insights sharp. A voice that doesn’t put you to sleep.
