Senior Congress leaders Ambati Krishna Rao and KVLS Eswari on Tuesday staged a protest in Srikakulam seeking an unconditional apology from the Election Commission of India (ECI) for allegedly supporting the BJP through manipulation of electoral lists and destroying Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) data.

The deplored the arrest of Opposition Leader in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and others leaders in New Delhi on Monday when they protested the discrepancies in voter’s list in Mahadevpura and other constituencies of Karnataka and the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voters’ list in Bihar.
Speaking to media, Mr. Krishna Rao said that people cutting across party lines have been appreciating Mr. Rahul Gandhi for revealing ‘‘vote thefts’‘ in the 2024 general elections and Maharashtra and Haryana Assembly elections. Voters are stunned with the revelations.
Party leaders Mantri Narasimhamurthy, A. Venkata Naidu Mamidi Satyanarayana and others were present at the protest.
