The North division police arrested a group of six persons, including three Engineering graduates, and recovered drugs worth â¹61 lakh from them. The police have seized 6.2 kg of ganja, 270 g of MDMA, 75 g of charas, three mobile phones, and â¹69,100 in cash from them.

The accused have been identified as Mohammed Shoib, 28, Chandan, 24, Salman Qureshi, 25, Umar Saud, 26, Bahadur Bhola, 20, and Farhan Hussain, 29. Among them Shoib, Chandan, and Saud are Engineering graduates who were allegedly addicted to drugs and later turned to peddling them, said the police.
The trio was allegedly caught red-handed while trying to deliver the drugs near HMT quarters in Jalahalli.
The accused were operating in J.C. Nagar, Hebbal, R.T. Nagar, and Jalahalli police station limits. The police are continuing their investigation to track down the source and the network of the accused.
