Praveg Ltd Q3 FY26: ₹90.71 Cr Revenue, 66% YoY Surge — But 9M Loss & ROCE at 6.59%. Tourism Star or Tent Trouble?

1. At a Glance – The Desert King With a Balance Sheet Hangover

Praveg Ltd is trading at ₹283, with a market cap of ₹739 Cr, down 35% in six months and a brutal 53% in one year. The stock once touched ₹612 — now it’s hugging ₹250 like a desert tourist hugging shade in May.

Latest Q3 FY26 consolidated revenue: ₹90.71 Cr (up 66% YoY).
Latest Q3 PAT: ₹9.93 Cr (flat-ish YoY, up 2%).
But wait — 9M FY26 PAT: -₹5.04 Cr loss.

ROCE? 6.59%.
ROE? 4.44%.
Debt? ₹107 Cr.
Interest coverage? 1.08 (that’s barely breathing).

This is a company that built luxury tent cities in deserts, beaches, pilgrimage towns, and now wants to conquer Lakshadweep. But the real question is:

Is this an eco-luxury hospitality story… or a capital-intensive expansion marathon disguised as glamour?

Let’s unzip the tent.

2. Introduction – From Event Guy to Island Sultan

Praveg started as an exhibition and event management company. If Gujarat had a pavilion, stage, backdrop, or Republic Day float — Praveg probably built it.

Then somewhere around the mid-2010s, management said:

“Why stop at temporary stages? Let’s build temporary luxury cities.”

And thus began the Tent City Empire.

Today Praveg operates:

  • 17 resorts + 1 five-star hotel
  • 827+ rooms
  • Across Rajasthan, UP, Lakshadweep, Maharashtra, Diu & Daman

From White Rann Resort (Dhordo) to Tent City Ayodhya, to Bangaram Island luxury shells priced at ₹57,640 ARR — this is not your typical dharamshala chain.

But expansion came at a cost.

Fixed assets jumped from ₹42 Cr (FY23) to ₹468 Cr (FY25).
Lease liabilities ballooned.
Borrowings increased.
Cash flows from investing? Deep negative.

So while Instagram sees sunsets and infinity pools… the balance sheet sees depreciation and interest.

The real drama starts in Q3 FY26.
