- Hotels Demerger: ITC Hotels spun off into a separate entity on Jan 1, 2025. Now asset-light, focus-sharp, and possibly checking itself into its own rooms for strategy offsites.
- Food-Tech Rocket: Brands like ITC Master Chef Creations, Aashirvaad Soul Creations, Sansho and Sunfeast Baked Creations now operate via 60 cloud kitchens. CAGR? A spicy 108% in 3 years.
- ITCMAARS: Their phygital agri-platform now links 22 lakh farmers and 2,050 FPOs. It also comes with drone pilots called “Drone Didis”. No, we’re not joking.

4. Shopping Spree: What ITC Bought (and Why)
- Blazeclan Technologies: To boost ITC Infotech’s cloud dreams.
- 24 Mantra Organic: For ₹200+ Cr, ITC got 100+ organic food SKUs and access to 1.4 lakh acres of certified organic farmland.
- Prasuma Frozen Foods: Now that dumplings are the new biryani.
- Mother Sparsh: Ayurvedic baby care—because Gen Z moms want plant-based wipes, not baby powder from 1987.

7. Agri-Business: Still Sexy, Now with Nicotine
- Sourced 3.5 million tonnes of agri-products from 22 states.
- New growth vectors in spices, maize-for-ethanol, and pre-basic potato seeds (Technico is now world’s largest).
- ITC IndiVision started exports of pharma-grade nicotine derivatives. Apparently, cigarettes weren’t enough; now they’re going straight to the lab coat crowd.
Oh, and ITC’s 100-acre herbal hub in MP is now supplying high-purity turmeric and ashwagandha extracts. For your immunity, mood, and monthly D2C box.
8. ITCMAARS – The Phygital Agri Superapp Nobody Saw Coming
With AI crop advice, credit access, biological inputs, drone spraying, and market linkages, ITCMAARS is essentially “AgriTech: Avengers Edition”. They even participated in the govt’s “Operation Dronagiri”.
