Minister for Health, Family Welfare and Medical Education, Satya Kumar Yadav inaugurated a Mother and Child Care Centre (MCCC) at the Government General Hospital in Rajamahendravaram City on Tuesday.
The two-storey integrated MCCC has been constructed at a cost of â¹11 crore funded by the Central government. It houses 25 beds for pregnant women and 75 beds for infants and newborns. The MCCC is equipped with Paediatric Intensive Care, Neonatal Care Unit, Special Neuro Care and ENT wards.
The number of outpatient counters have been increased from four to 22. District Collector P. Prasanthi, MLAs Adireddi Vasu, Nallamilli Ramakrishna Reddy and attended the event.
