Why It’s a Big Deal
Solar cell manufacturing is thirsty business – not for chai, but for water so pure that a single speck of dust could ruin production. That’s where WABAG’s Ultra-Pure Water system comes in. Add to that an Effluent Treatment Plant (to deal with industrial wastewater) and Zero Liquid Discharge system (ensuring literally not a drop of wastewater goes waste), and you’ve got a sustainability triple-combo.
Think of it as a “spa treatment for water,” but on an industrial scale.
WABAG’s Take
Mr. V. Sivakumar, General Manager – Sales & Marketing, India Cluster, commented:
“This order marks WABAG’s foray into water management solutions for solar cell facilities – a high growth segment. It aligns with our strategy to diversify into Solar, Green Hydrogen, and Semi-Conductors. Our tech expertise and pricing helped us offer the lowest life-cycle cost. We thank RenewSys for their confidence in us.”
Corporate-speak translation: We’re planting our flag in solar, and this could be our golden ticket to more business in green
