Hyderabad, August 19, 2025 – Kernex Microsystems (India) Ltd on Tuesday informed that it has secured a fresh order from West Central Railways, Bhopal Division, for the implementation of the indigenous train protection system Kavach.
The order, awarded to the Kernex–KEC Consortium, covers provision of Kavach on the UHF backbone with optical fiber cable (OFC) and route diversity in critical sections of the Bhopal Division. The routes include:
- Itarsi (Excluding) – Khandwa (Excluding)
- Bina (Excluding) – Ruthiyai
- Associated railway sections in the Bhopal zone
