Hyderabad, August 19, 2025– Kernex Microsystems (India) Ltd on Tuesday informed that it has secured a fresh order fromWest Central Railways, Bhopal Division, for the implementation of the indigenous train protection systemKavach.
The order, awarded to theKernex–KEC Consortium, covers provision of Kavach on theUHF backbone with optical fiber cable (OFC) and route diversityin critical sections of the Bhopal Division. The routes include:
- Itarsi
- (Excluding) – Khandwa (Excluding)
- Bina (Excluding) – Ruthiyai
- Associated railway sections in the Bhopal zone
