PC Jeweller Ltd Q2 FY26 – From Glitter to Grit: ₹825 Cr Sales, ₹210 Cr Profit, ₹4,000 Cr Debt Gone, and a SEBI Saga That Could Make a Netflix Show

1. At a Glance

PC Jeweller Ltd—once the sparkle of India’s high-street jewellery—has been polishing not just gold but its reputation.
At ₹ 11.6 per share (Nov 14 close), this ₹ 8,470 Cr market-cap phoenix has risen from near insolvency.
The company just pulled off a Q2 FY26 revenue of ₹ 825 Cr (+63 % YoY) and PAT ₹ 210 Cr (+17 % YoY) with ROE 12.7 %.
Debt is down by about ₹ 406 Cr this quarter; total borrowing now sits at ₹ 1,594 Cr—a fraction of the ₹ 4,082 Cr default once filed by SBI.

As the Bible says, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be.”
In PC Jeweller’s case, the treasure is under the DRT’s custody—but at least the heart is back to beating.

2. Introduction

If diamonds are forever, scandals apparently last longer.
PC Jeweller Ltd, once a darling of Dalal Street, spent half a decade in corporate ICU—defaults, SEBI notices, DRT seizures, NCLT filings, and enough court orders to fill an anthology.

Cut to FY26: showrooms reopening, lenders shaking hands, and profits finally returning to the balance sheet.
It’s almost poetic—a company that sold sparkle finally polishing its own tarnish.

From 82 showrooms in FY22 to 57 now, the firm has trimmed fat and franchises alike.
A ₹ 2,705 Cr preferential issue at ₹ 56 a share has pumped fresh blood.
Twelve of fourteen lenders have signed the One-Time Settlement; even SBI filed to withdraw its insolvency petition.

No longer a story of bling and bloat, PC Jeweller is trying to become the comeback kid of the gems sector—if only it can stay out of court long enough to cut some stones.
