Odigma Consultancy Solutions Ltd: 235 P/E for a Digital Flyer?


1. At a Glance

Odigma is that Bangalore digital marketing shop which graduated from “we’ll boost your Facebook likes” to “we’ll run your digital transformation.” Once a tucked-in arm of Infibeam, it got demerged and listed in Dec 2024. Stock listed at ₹150, now at ₹30.8—basically a startup valuation collapse on Dalal Street. With sales of just ₹40 Cr and PAT of ₹0.41 Cr, the company trades at a P/E of 235. To put it bluntly: this is not “paying for growth,” this is paying for PowerPoint slides.


2. Introduction

Odigma began in 2010, when social media marketing meant buying Orkut scraps and SMS blasts. Over a decade later, it’s pitching SEO, video marketing, and programmatic ads to the likes of Myntra, Indigo, Airtel, and Brigade Group.

The real masala? Infibeam thought Odigma deserved independence, so they gave every 89 Infibeam shareholders 1 Odigma share in 2024. Translation: they tossed it out like a side project, and retail rushed in thinking they discovered “India’s Affle.” But reality check: revenue fell 18% YoY, net profit is less than the average Bangalore influencer’s collab fee, and promoter holding is just 27%.

So here’s the puzzle: is Odigma a tiny agency with big names in its pitch deck, or a future digital tiger waiting for scale?


3. Business Model – WTF Do They Even Do?

Odigma is your “full-stack” digital agency, offering:

  • SEO & SEM (basically fighting Google’s algorithm daily).
  • Content & Social Media Marketing (a.k.a. making reels for brands).
  • Email Marketing (hello spam folder).
  • Online Reputation Management (cleaning up bad Google reviews).
  • Video Marketing (those “viral” ads you skip on YouTube).
  • Web Design & Development.
  • Programmatic Ads (buzzword bingo!).

Clients include Makemytrip, Myntra, IndiGo, Airtel, JBL, Aditya Birla, Puravankara, Brigade. The catch: these logos may be on slides, but revenue scale doesn’t reflect repeat or large contracts.
